{say cheese} instagrams around our home.

i'm a bit of an insta-addict to say the least.  i absolutely love instagram.  i follow and correspond with some amazingly creative gals who inspire me daily through their photography.  my instagram is a mini blog for our growing family, capturing our real daily life one snapshot at a time. i also consider it an art form, always seeing the beauty and unique in the ordinary.  and, rather than having the memories sit in iPhoto, i love printing and displaying them in different ways around our home.

1. this little collage lives behind our master bedroom door. this print from Justine Ma was obviously awesome all on it's own, but with a few of our fave instagrams hung with my favorite gold dot washi, it brightens up an unoccupied wall.

2. before Christmas last year, i sent our memories off to stickygram and had a three sheets of magnets made. i also kept a few aside for gifts to tuck inside our holiday cards.  our collage of magnets cover our fridge, perfect for hanging kid art.

3. last Easter, i took advantage of a 20% off sale through www.posterjack.ca.  i selected a 20 x 28 poster size print using one of poster jack's user friendly grid layouts.  each of our posters has 35 photos. i framed the them in ikea's ODBY frames just like our gigantic family photos in our family room.  we haven't much wall space in our cozy home, so they're hung on our landing beneath the gorgeous maskros pendant which casts some delightful shadows in our stairwell.   see more photos of this display.

4. my most favorite display is using the DIGNITET curtain wire and the RIKTIG curtain clips from ikea. after installing the wire and clips beneath an awesome piece of wooden art. i printed out 3.5 square instagrams on photo paper right at home on my HP printer, cropped them and clipped them onto the wire. i love changing swapping these photos frequently. it's a special spot in our master bedroom!

how do you display your instagrams?

Love your displays! I already created the frame one from your inspiration. It just so happens to be that I have that ikea wire still in package, laying around here. A perfect way to use it!! I'll have to get creative as I don't have the clips and the nearest Ikea is two hours away.

Perfect Lisa! Perhaps you could use those mini clothespins from Michael's or your local dollar store to clip the photos onto the wire!
