Ahhh I see the monsters now! Ok they are so darn cute. I love the kite pillow you did. I might just have to make one for my little O in her reading nook. Thanks for sharing and being so inspiring :)
Once again...love the room. I linked to your site today on my site...I finally completed my bench cushion thanks to your camping mattress suggestion =)
What are the dimensions of the bedroom? I'm trying to decide if my room is big enough to put to beds like this. So darling!

Thank you for sharing! Do you have a shop? I love the striped pink, white felt, felted kite, ruffled parade pillow.
I couldn't find anything like it.
Thanks again!

Hi. Love the creative use of that Ikea bookshelf! When i looked the Lack shelf up, it appears to have open shelving (it isn't all boxed in). Did you have to buy a wall shelf and attach it to the bookshelf to give it the finished appearance? I can't figure it out.
Thanks for any help!
ashlee - it's a tall narrow bookshelf that ikea stocks. i noticed that they don't have it online however. we simply purchased the shelf, tipped it on its side, and installed two capita leg kits. i handmade the cushion and pillows on top. hope this helps!
This is beautiful! Where did you buy your camping mattress? I'd love to make a bench like this, but the foam at Joann's is so expensive!
This bedroom is amazing!! I'm so glad you shared :) Just wondering how you attached the balls to the ceiling? Any tips? I'd like to do this same thing! Thank you!
I love this room! Fantastic job, you have totally inspired me. We just moved and I'm in the process of decorating our 4yo and 5yo daughters' room. I also wonder the dimensions of the room. Also, do you have a dresser in the room or just the large closet? Thanks for posting your sources...you are so creative!
Hi Julie,
Thanks for your comment!
No room for a dresser unfortunately, and it's taken me quite awhile to figure out how to stuff two girls' wardrobes in one closet. I've had to be quite inventive using a martha steward 9 cubby shelving unit with martha steward fabric bins. And then, bins along the top shelf of the closet. A few of hazel's dresses etc. are hung up in hank's closet as well.
Hi Lindsey,
The tissue poms are hung using a very lightweight fishing line and white top thumbtacks.
Thanks for your comment!
Oh my. I just found your blog and I am in love. You have so many creative things to look at!! Eye candy for me! :)
I found the reference of the paint: Match of General Paint™ CL 2982W Dish Water
The room is absolutely beautiful!! Where does one purchase the camping mattress foam?
I believe the Ikea shelf (for the window seat) is actually EXPEDIT not Lack. FYI :-)
It is lack actually purchased in 2006. They had long narrow openings and has since been discontinued. The expedit units are all square.
