we had a lot of fun crafting her cards this year. having a cooperative preschooler who loves being in front of the camera and is near obsession when it comes to holidays definitely helped! I've seen this idea floating around for the last couple of years and thought this would be the perfect age.
while i absolutely adore how her cards looked in the end, i also loved how inexpensive they were. after we landed the right photo, we printed 30 matte bordered 4 x 6 photos at costco for a little over $2. and the bubble gum lolly's come in bundles of 6 for $1 at our local dollar store. i carefully made two slits above and below her hand and slipped the lolly through.
she's so excited to hand them out next week at her school party!

ps. the background for the photo is a chevron quilt from my mother-in-law's etsy shoppe, linen and thread. all proceeds go to the juvenile diabetes research foundation. visit her shoppe here!
