things i love thursday.

my favorite photo of the week and a highlight of my day. my 2 sweet girls playing quietly in their playroom. one crafting to her heart's content and the other curious as ever chewing on everything in sight.

this blog post. i'm truly sad to see this blog go - it was one of my weekly visits, however, i love her honest well-written exit post. and this reminder.

i adore the quirky mix of patterns, colors, accessories and details in this boy's room tour.

these are for dessert tomorrow night. and when ambition strikes, we'll be munching on these.

raindrops, candy, and dandelions. tula pink has done it right with this vibrant and playful fabric collection.

add the 36th avenue's adorable stenciled pillows crafted from kitchen towels to your to-make list.

looking for a little wall art inspiration? take a peek at laura winslow's archived wall art wednesday posts. i think i've finally concluded what i'll do with the new vacant wall in my office.

trendy peas' new line of wallpaper is ridiculously cute. must. find. a. wall.

Cute playroom! I am also in Calgary and have a question about your boxes. Is that the Ikea shelf? We have several of those and want different color boxes then the pink and black ones at Ikea. Are those the Martha Stewart ones from Home Depot? They look like them, but they look slightly larger. I have tried them on ours. I just had another baby and need to change the nursery from my daughter's over to my new son's. The boxes in there are the pink ones and they need to go! But I don't want to do black. So just wondering if the boxes you had were those Home Depot ones or something better. Wow - long comment for a fairly simple question! Sorry about that! Thanks

congrats on your new baby boy! yes, this is the expedit shelf from ikea. and, you're right, the bins are from martha stewart's collection from home depot. the turquoise blue, grass green, and chocolate bins would be fab in a boy's nursery...even a mix of them. they definitely don't fit as snug as the ikea bins but work well for easily pulling in and out. love that they are soft and not heavy and clunky like baskets.

hope this helps!

Hello! Lovely room! Just wondering where the white storage shelf/bins on the left of the picture are from?
