{i craft} felt flower pillow.

another project completed this weekend from start to finish is this beloved felt flower pillow. inspired by a few etsy shops, i wanted to create one of my very own. she sits on the corner chair in my office after hannah kidnapped my blue one i had originally purchased. the fabric is heather bailey's lindy leaf in tangerine... one of my most favorite prints. i plan to make more... and more... and more...

i'm am managing better to find a balance of time during the day... and make the most of late nights. it's important to make time for things you love to do. i've moved my crafting goodies within reach, trying not to mind the mess it creates, and i'm off to start a vigorous workout routine this week. happy mama = happy everyone. what do you love to do for your "me time"?

Can I ask if you used a pattern for the rose on the pillow? I ended up buying one for my Mom for Christmas and now she wants to try making her own. Any advice? Thanks!!

hi! thanks for your comment and question...

no, unfortunately i didn't use a pattern at all. just freehand cut the petals as i went along in hopes it would turn out! perhaps she could use her pillow as a template and try to draft the size of the petals on paper first?

I, too, had been hoping you had a pattern you could share. ;) I've never been great at freehanding things. Oh, well! It looks gorgeous!
