{i decorate} ready for baby.

a few of my favorite things...

custom wooden letters from goinggaga
birdie clock from my sis via winners
{a steal at $10!}
window bench & custom cushion
{re-purposed ikea lack bookshelf & my mother-in-law's magic sewing touch}
charlotte bedding from dwell studio
{a splurge!}
tissue poms from orangekisses
baby's jampacked closet
{full of sentimental jammies from our first born}
handmade paper butterfly mobile

i. am. exhausted. but began to tackle the newborn laundry today.
i have much more ideas than energy.
i would like to make a shadow box full of colored butterflies
& a mirror wall above baby's change table.
take my bouncing 3 year old on as many dates as i can.
bake. cook. bake some more.
complete design projects...
but, today was our first "stay home do nothing day" in a long while.
and it felt good.
i even napped.

the diapers are waiting.
and so are we :)

Such a darling room! And the tiny newborn clothes in the closet make me feel all sentimental and misty eyed. Too bad I don't know whether I am having a boy or a girl and can't start filling the nursery closet!

washing the itty bitty clothes was even harder - i was a blubbering mess!

Bonjour! What a beautiful nursery. You have great taste. I love the pompoms and the pink cat from Jelly Cat, my favourite soft toys for kiddies!

I am also loving the paint color! I hope you will share the color/brand!

the paint colour is called DISHWATER - from general paints. i've had an impossible time finding the number or values of the paint. it's actually from the green family. Depending on your lighting and time of day... the colour looks blue, grey or green. Our entire home is painted in this colour!

I love your entire nursery, but specifically the Lack window bench - would you share how you made it? I'd love to "borrow" your idea!
